"It is extremely spacious for a studio, super cute, beautiful surroundings, and very conveniently located to access all Tahoe has to offer from Olympic Village. It is even better than the pictures."

"What a lovely spot! It's a quick 3-minute shuttle ride from the lifts. The heated floors in the bathroom have ruined all the bathrooms for me."

FAQ

Questions about the studio

Everything guests usually ask before booking the studio.

How far is the studio from Palisades Tahoe?+

The studio is 1/2 mile from Palisades Tahoe. In winter, the Mountaineer on-demand shuttle can pick up at the address and get guests to the lifts without parking at the resort.

Is the studio private with its own entrance?+

Yes. The studio and 4-bedroom cabin are attached and share a wall, but each has a completely separate front door and operates as an independent unit. Guests do not share common areas or an entry.

What is the bathroom like?+

The studio bathroom has a full-size tub and heated tile floors, which is especially useful after ski days, hikes, or cold Tahoe mornings.

Is the studio good for remote work?+

Yes. The studio has high-speed WiFi, a glass-top desk that works well for a laptop, and a full kitchen so longer stays do not depend on eating every meal out.

How does the gas fireplace work?+

The gas fireplace is simple on/off, with no wood hauling required. It is in the sleeping area and gives off real heat for winter nights or cool summer evenings.

Can I book the studio directly, on Airbnb, or on VRBO?+

All three options are available. Guests can use Airbnb, VRBO, or request a direct booking to save on platform fees. Direct booking is also the best path if you want to ask about longer stays or pairing the studio with the cabin.

What if something comes up during the stay?+

You communicate directly with Nick and Tina, not a rotating property manager. If anything needs attention during the stay, message us and we will help.

Is the studio pet-friendly?+

Pets are not currently allowed. If you have a service animal, contact us before booking so we can work through the details.
